In the Sky

Thump. Thump. My heart beats.

I look around but no one is in the streets.

How can I be so alone?

I wish my fear would have flown

Like a bird into the dark night.

I take my final flight.

The sun sets on the horizon.

My mind keeps my eyes in.

Do not look out the window.

We move through the sky slow.

Almost there at my destination.

My mind and body is finally on vacation.
