SkyLights


I look at the stars at night and wonder what they are The child in me is filled with delight as I watch them burn Never leaving never dying They've been there since I was born They watched my great ancestors watch them when they were boys and girls The little lights that light the sky when the moon slumbers Then there’s me below on earth looking up in wonder What a wonderful thing we see what a privilege we've been given To have the lights of heaven watch over us time a time again
