Slam the Door

Bam

a door slam in my face

but it wasn’t a door in a literal sense

it was a portal

an entryway

to adulthood

one I didn’t want to make

but one that made me stronger

no one tells you about being bullied it will happen to you

no one tells you that even if you have support you have to do it alone

alone

thats how I felt

and that’s how I fought

and I’m all the better for it
