A Slave

Uncleaned wounds opened to the white meat Whip lashes all across my back and no food to eat Going several days without food in the presence of me As night approaches I wonder if it'll be me He comes I'm a daily basis around 8 or 9 Seeking his next victim to please his very mind One night he raped me and raped me and raped me over and over again Until his thirst for me drained out Slaves which we were called back in those days No white man every have two fucks about a black man Only when it came down to him having his way The greed and love of money sunk deeply into his mind His hands feined for it like a crack addict with no drugs The "MAN" we all know as "THE WHITE MAN" The eyes sustain death and the mind sustains memory We all pray that God leads the way That he frees is from these unbroken chain's And let us one day see freedom again The only time I saw sunlight was when I was beneath the floor boards of a ship and it caught me by surprise When I finally realized that "I WAS A SLAVE"
