A Slave to My Emotions
It feels like I'm suffocating
The fog surrounds me as my lungs struggle for that next breath
To hang on
To do what they are supposed to do
Breath dammit breath
My mind clouds, oxygen cut off
I fall
Crumple like a piece of paper with no words written on it
I fall
Like I am nothing. Weightless, purposeless
I crumple, a mass strewn on the blinding white floor.
A pitiful yet beautiful show with no one there to watch
The fog now above
Like an overcast of depressing gray clouds looming for their next chance
Having escaped but it is still hard to breath
A weight sits on my chest
I am too weak to move
To weak to do anything except lie on the cool moist ground
The deafening silence
As the floor opens up around me
A square hatch
And I fall
Fall through the never ending blackness
The white floor disappears from above me
Surrounded by never ending black
Feeling the air hitting my back, my arms my legs
Free falling, no control
Falling and falling through a world of darkness
Suddenly hitting the ground, hard
Bouncing of the ground with a sudden jolt
Then lying, again strewn on the ground
Again the white floor
Only blackness above
I lie there till I get the strength to stand
Then I turn around and walk away in the opposite direction
Leaving the white floor and black sky alone
A barren landscape of nothingness
Of what it truly is
