Slavery

Back in history When blacks had the life as slaves No voice As if they were property When slave owners had the right to treat us any old kind of way and we couldn’t do jack about it because we were there property we were all known as the hard working negros with no self-quality as life went past as we got older with those who claimed justice to make a change going forward Now were in the present times Where a black man can’t walk with a hood Without being accused of doing nothing good Where some white cops beat on the blacks And when they say they can’t breathe And the cops don’t stop until the man takes his final rest Or how society allows you to think only negros can be hood So, when a white man is hood they say there trying to act black Or how A black person can be rolling up a blunt a white cop sees and they go to jail longer then a month but when the white neighbor next door is actually smoking it and they get off on a technicality granted we have many accomplishes from then and now but the odds still lie if there was war would we fall and be left to cry or would it be vice versa or even a tie so, think about what we can change today because it’s not promised tomorrow will you be left with the guilt and sorrow? choose wisely and overcome your fears make amends with the sins that you hold near and remember the struggles people may or may not go through because life is not promised to all of you. by; Tatiare long
