Slaves Again

Where do you go?

When  you find yourself tangled in the chains of these gangs

That torture our society for bullshit and calling names

Who knew we’d be slaves again? Slaves of a trigger-happy mindset,

Letting bullets fly killing innocence

People fall as victims to the finger of a murder syndicate

Just a push of a trigger to take a life away

An innocent who dreamt of becoming something someday

Lives ripped away everyday in this war

But if you ask they can’t even tell you what they’re fighting for

You got that “Thug Life” tatted on your face

When the real soldiers are those who have to endure your confusing nuisance everyday

The mothers and brothers of the lost souls who are feeling pain

We insult those who fought for our freedom everyday

What was the point of fighting against the KKK if we’re just gonna’ kill each other anyway?

No answer? That’s what I thought.

So ‘F’ those who took lashes and lynching’s so we could talk?

Now pulling a trigger somehow makes your body bigger

Bigger figure to intimidate and belittle

But when the gun is at your face its no longer really that simple.
