slaves of the laws

Another face in the crowd, is all I can be Slaves of the laws we make Society make us their tools Freedom, they tell us. Grey is the only color I see Like a machine with skin Don't ask just be thin Like a robot with a heart. Just be pretty not smart Hanging on a string, a living puppet And when you go against the laws An outcast you become amidst them You become an enemy Your worst nightmare will be 'we' For peace to come, war erupts It's oath they take by sword Dreaming is too good for reality Afraid of the dark But no one turns on the light They forgot the important virtues Love, happiness, freedom What defines humanity Asking instead of judging Contemplating and complementing A few mistakes it's all it takes From hero to zero Just another broken soul Just another burned coal.
