SLEEP

Drifting asleep I lay on the couch

And to my suprise when I feel the sunrise, I'm in my room

tucked in       under the covers

never wondered or questioned why

One day I fell asleep on the couch and woke up on the

couch

not in bed, or wrapped in a blanket, but most importantly

not carried to my room anymore

I asked myself why but already knew the answer

I'm not a little girl anymore
