Sleep
Eyes flutter shut
The world cuts out like a light
Darkness unsettled like dust
Black clouds pregnant with nothingness
They pour onto the earth and consume it
Thoughts float away,
Red feathers in the wind
Colors run off
Wet and soggy
Red drips, turns brown
Dark puddles of feather mush
Sinking into the earth
The black nothingness falls out of the sky
Flooding, breaking levies I’m too weak to hold anymore
It spills over, black smoke
My lungs fill up on black
Blackness and dark dirt
Black, bloody, wet feather mush sinking, thoughts drowning
Converge on to me
And that’s it
No consciousness
