Sleep

I slowly drift into sleep.

The room around me is a world of pink.

Neon stars above my bed blink,

Sweet dreams.

I slowly drift into sleep.

My body heat warms up my sheets.

What is weighing on my mind flees,

Tomorrow's worries.

I slowly drift into sleep.

My care for this life also goes

To where, only God knows.

Just sleep.

I slowly drift into sleep.

My heart is a cracked vase,

My mind is put to waste.

Forget that:

I, have fallen asleep.
