Sleep
Crystalline ripples,
Cutting like a razor,
Unchanging in its unstoppable advance,
My focus unfazed.
A brilliant glow,
orange and red and yellow and
all shades between,
this Joy lifts Me from gloomy lands.
Oft neglected for others,
She makes my life complete.
It's not 'til She is gone,
that I know I'm missing
Sleep.
