Sleep, Now

Seven pages five thousand words

(Shhhh)

Haven't even tried to start it

(Shhhh)

Missus Lisa needs me Thursday

(Shhhh)

Twenty minute walk to her house

(Enough)

Working this week and the next

(Shhhh)

And maybe late if she's sick again

(Shhhh)

Every form still needs some fillin'

(Shhhh)

Parents have to sign them too

(Enough)

Maybe if I pull up the blanket

(Shhh)

Lean my head back just enough

(Shh)

Shut my eyes forget about it

(Sh)

Tommorow, then I'll

(It's bedtime, enough)
