Sleep Tight My Child

My darling child

All snuggled in your bed

Please close your eyes and rest your head

Dream of happiness and love

While the angles watch from up above

There isn’t a scary monster in sight

Don’t you cry or put up a fight

Just grab your teddy and squeeze it tight

I promise you’ll have a peaceful night
