Sleeping

I feel like rocking

Or, rolling

No, laying down

Sleeping

Then waking

And staying

One lonesome-bound

Dying

Rebirthing

I feel like a Phoenix Queen

‘Lone

In my ashes

I’ll be

One who can’t redeem

Won’t be seen

Will be seen

Breathe out loud

Silence proud

“Watch me and

See my hand turning the winds of time.”

In my mind

“They are blind.”

I say to sate me

It makes me to hate me

When thoughts of mine don’t come true

But, I am Phoenix

And I will stay Phoenix

No real pain may thwart me

No fire, no burning

It hurts, yes

It kills, yes

One day, it will end me

But there is a new me

And this girl, she’ll rise

From the ashes post- fire

And this girl, she will fly away.
