sleeping beauty

once upon a time

there was a beautiful

beautiful

girl

all the boys

in the kingdom loved

loved

her

but they didn’t love her for her mind or her personality

they lusted

lusted

after her body

the princess,

tired of the boys gazes, fell

fell

into a deep sleep

for a hundred years,

she peacefully slept

slept

undisturbed

and in those hundred years

times changed

changed

for the better

the princess

finally rested, woke

woke

and entered a world where she was more

more than a body

to be objectified

objectified

more

she finally was free

and as an independent being, she soared

soared

to great heights
