Sleeping With My Tears

Time is surrounded by nothing but fear

The end is near for the lonely heart hidden in rear

In a cold world where my heart burns is where I reside

While my place of residence is drowned by silent cries

Reachin’ deep into the dark to find a new light

Laid to rest, constantly stressed, built upon lies

Contemplation plays a role in the choices i hide

Alone, with no one to touch, no one to feel

I’ve learned to deal on my own so that my conscience can heal

This time, the river blanket took over my side

The swelling of my eyes cannot let me shy behind this broken facade

The hardest decision ever one can ever do

To let somethin’ most precious go and still live like its coo

Its not as easy as it seems ask the tears on my pillow

That lay with me at night like a stalker in shadows

Depression doesn’t lie far, guilt is already here

Confusion has never left, accusations are all I hear

Tired of being beaten, broken, and left abused

My heart gave out its all and was still left with nothin’ new

Insomnia takes its place along this broken estate

And im left feeding its hunger with the cries of my fate

No longer do I have anything to fear..

It's just me, myself, and this slate full of tears
