The Sleepless Night

The Sleepless Night

tick tocking away

The lamp shines in

a sick dimming way

The sleepless night

sways and wanes

on til before dawn

stays and chains

The sleepless night

chains me to a paradigm

of sleepless thoughts

I lay, wondering what

vexes the sleepless night

as I attempt to sleep the

sleepless somber of this

sleepless night.
