"Sleepless Nights Pt.1"

I haven’t slept tonight

So I’ve been sitting

And reminiscing

About all the good times we’ve shared

Our separation from one another pains me

The thought of you being away hurts me

Thinking of what could’ve been

Or what my life would be like

Nights, or should I say days, like these

Leave me with free time to think

Time for my mind to wander.

During this process of mind wandering

I can’t help but come across

You in my thoughts

Looking back, and thinking

About what could’ve been the future

You could say that I’m having withdrawls

I like to think of it as my abandonment issues

This is where my mind wanders

On one of these sleepless nights…
