Sleepy Hymn

Hush, hush

Fall back to sleep

Your watery eyes

Entangled feet

The sounds of your snores

Escape in my mind

Closed and locked doors

I have at night

There’ll be a time

When we meet again

Your drunken heart

Will beat my friend

So hush, hush

Fall back to sleep

You child of God

May you rest in piece
