Sleepy School Days
Tick, tock,
Tick, tock,
Seconds go by,
And time passes.
Voices fade,
And effort is made.
“Let’s stay up this once,”
Wouldn’t you say?
Slowly drifting,
Eyes are closing,
Nodding off,
Quietly falling.
Bang!
Ouch what pain.
Heads are turned,
Regrets are made.
Sink down in your seat,
And whisper quietly,
“Let’s not do this again.”
The process repeats.
