Slightly Stable
I witness him melting my shards back together.
He picks up my sorrow and turns it to good.
He picks up my heartbreak and turns it to content.
He picks up my resentment and turns it to patience.
I watch the stained glass turn clear and pure.
He turns to me and smiles.
His smile melting the shards on the floor.
His words melting the shards in his lap.
His embrace on my soul melting the shards in his hands.
The progress goes slow, I see outcomes around me floating in the air.
I sit by him.
I close my eyes and lean into him.
I feel love. I feel balance. I feel ease. My breathe and my heartbeat is under control.
The smokey air starts to clear.
The panicking ceiling halts.
The once liquid floor starts hardening.
