A slip of the heart

In your eyes so blue, lies a truth...
that I never thought I would find in myself.
A release of who I am supposed to be,
the unveiling of the real me.
In your lips so soft is an encouragement to never turn my feelings off,
To never stifle my real intent.
Though I know that our decision causes hurt to happen less.
It feels like knives stabbing through my chest,
Like a piece of my soul dying.

For your love, I am vying.

For your love,  I am pining.

For your love,  I hold onto forever.

For your love,  I will let go of never.
