Slipped Up

Coffee, coffee, coffee

That’s all she needed

Mop the floors, wash the bath, make the bed

A chant that kept her sane

But that bed looked awfully comfortable

She dared herself not to go anywhere near it

Oh man, the California King was calling her name

“Aurora, Aurora!”

She looked away as she dusted the dresser

Her head was in a bit of a mess-er

She yawned and knew that it was a stupid fight

The bed was there for her so she could sleep through the night

The pillow felt oh so fluffy

It would only be a few minutes in the comfy bed

Tick, tock, her boss found her sleeping on the job

“Get up, sleeping beauty!”

She awoke with a hurry as she scurried

Out of the room and into a coma

Where she slipped and figured out this would be a great moment

For sleep, of course
