Slipping Away

I was within your reach, but I wasn't reaching for you
But when I reached for your soft fingertips, they were beyond me
Leavening me alone
You said you were reaching the whole time
But You didn't notice I was already slipping away
After a while you just left
You couldn't stay here
And I slipped farther away
With hopes of a return from you

You said you were reaching the whole time

But You didn't notice I was already slipping away(poems go here)
