Slopes

Paradise, that can only be experienced in one season out of the year. Going down the mountains put smiles on the people's faces, makes them cheer. So much power is held in the slopes. To some it proves to be a beacon of hope. You can turn to them to deal with your problems. They will help you cope. As you are taken high into the sky by the lift, awaiting to cruise down the snow bank at full speed. Not caring about anything but making it down the mountain not falling. The snow covered clift, to shred it I can hear it calling. Bailing is not an option, no turning back now. Even though I am the only one I would be letting down. Boots latched in my bindings. Im feeling safe and sound. Music blares through my ears louder then a crowded town. A perfectly crafted board, and its rider are profound. The wax has turned it into a 50 mile per hour vehicle, that only can be stopped by its driver. Traveling faster and higher then a jet fighter. Once making it to the bottom, have to start at the top again. The courtesy of the lift provides the cool breeze life that of a fan. Each and everyear it pulls me in to go like a rope. I can't wait till I go back to the slopes.
