Slow Burn


It burns, slowly.

It hurts, intensely.

Is this love?

You're screaming at me.

I'm yelling at you. 

We're screaming at each other for what I don't remember.

This war is two wrongs and it doesn't make it right.

I for one already lost the reason to fight.

It's a slow hurt.

Yeah, it burns.

Is this what I've been waiting for?

Is this love?

Because it feels more like a slow burn.
