Slow Down

Spinning so fast goes the world,

life happens so swift it comes in a twirl.

Be still, my soul, be still right now.

It doesn't even give excitement somehow.

"Slow down!", I say as I run so fast.

I can't keep, there goes my past.

Satisfaction of life is somethng we seek,

but time can't stand still. I wish you could see.

Today is the day  we make our name known.

This is our mark. This is what we own.

Live everyday like it's your last.

After all you do, it's left in the past.
