slowly

_SLOWLY__

Like a ninja waiting behind the darkness is an assassin
Seemingly watching people in passing, studying their movements,  while this was happening
I decided to track down this killer who struck under the cover of darkness
I figured i could conquer her because I was an expert marksman

After she shot me, everyone knew her name L-O-V-E
I walked out of my door, and she L-O-V-E shot me, dead in the knee
Now I am humbly bowing down to her, I have submitted to her
She didn't care what it took for her to finally conquer me
I am crying out for help becuz we all know that love hurts to the core, and I have a heart sore, I bleed

See, the heart is a muscle and sometimes we just need to give it a rest
I came to this resolution as she put a bullet with sniper-like precision in my chest
It hasn't killed me, but what is in store for me, I am afraid of what's going to happen next
She could end my journey right here, I know she's feeding off of my fear, but here the test

With obstacles and trails and tribulations, I decided to fight back
You will never bring a change on me without my concent, my mind flashes back
To what she and I did to each other, for a while we were together but we were just got used to each other
I wasn't honest with her, I should have told her that once before I was smothered

By lust's hands and im not sure if this relationship is true
But I couldn't do that, it would be awkward, it would have came out the blue
The last thing I want to do is argue with you, I told her
But my baby shot me down, bang bang,  can't believe I tried to hold on to her

There was once a time where anything was possible
We would hold hands and say the God will guide us pass these obstacles
But somewhere down the line we have lost that fire that used to burn
Do we go back to get it, or do I make my own, that's my concern

I bleed out my emotions as I collapsed to the ground
My vision begins to fade, I lay on the ground as I hear the sounds
Of distressed friends telling to fight on, but the emptiness  continues to hold me
As I begin to die, slowly
