Slowly, carefully, skimming Beneath the
Slowly, carefully, skimming
Beneath the surface. Hiding in the
Shadows of your soul lies an esoteric
Desire. Reaching, struggling, to pull Him
Closer to you. Longing with a deep hunger to
Feel the warmth, a fiercely burning flame, to surge
Through you as easily as water spreads across a level surface
Silently, you submit to the Spirit sweeping through your soul and
Suddenly
Like a brick wall, you push Him away with an intermittent fear that if you
Surrender the entirety of your simple life, you'll merely squander away into
Nothingness. Abruptly, a voice reaches out, speaking softly, yet still audible, to your
Spirit saying, "Do not fear, it is I. You have called, now I will answer. In Me, be faithful, and you shall be
Eternally safe."
