Sluggish
James 4:8
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts,
you double-minded.
Sluggish
Little said this moment forcing understanding
Life like a butterfly now moves like a hippo
It had to come to this after all the planning
My house of cards came down; do I give a flippo?
Let us not be serious as it is better to be a joke
A smile is much better than a tear hard to swallow
It seems just mysterious how the human yoke
Seems to be so heavy while the mind is shallow
Breakfast in bed while sleeping under the bridge
Going to the bathroom next to the dumpster
Surely I’ve been had as I crawl out of the ditch
That came way too soon in my hurry to be wasted
