Sluggish Stan

Sluggish Stan sleepily sat still

Frozen in time without a chill

Eye ball bags brought by being bored

His favorite time was when he snored

Lazily lounging all day long

He didn’t see anything wrong

With living a life-time in bed

But isn’t that the same as dead

I'm a High school senior that loves poetry and the way poetry can alter perspectives. I write more than just poetry and the poems posted by me on this forum differ based on the emotion being expressed while writing the piece.
