Slump

You're in a slump, you're feeling stressed. It's really bad, you look depressed He broke things off, he's moving on You're left alone now that he's gone Remembering those special times When kisses met like magic rhymes You always thought he was the best It's not the case, who would have guessed You pout and ponder all alone While sitting by the unused phone Has dropped you now for evermore you're left bloodshot, eyes are filled with tears Because of this you want to quit... you're stuck right here, can't move a bit The sadness swells and fills you up It overflows, a brimming cup you're weatherd thick and worried thin. you know you'll thrive, so don't give in Lots of others are wounded too This hopeless feeling through and through But the you reach a friend who's dear reminding you get in gear The hope you find within your reach It stretches for an endless beach Quite quietly, you clench your fist and vow once more that you'll persist The turning point is getting now your time is now to get in gear you tell yourself the way is clear to sally forth and get in gear you know today you have no fear you're on your way, your now in gear and this will be your greahtest your as you declare to get in gear. - By Cece/ Cianna Eleby
