Small Acts of Love

You always preffer thirty second phone calls

Over texts with six words.

Spontanious roses from a gas station counter

End up in my hands as thoughtful gestures.

Laying in your cold room on summer days

I start to lose my concept of time.

Watching you mapping my body

You make it clear that you're mine.

Late phone calls every night

We began to build our future.

What would we name our kids?

I hope they have our sense of humor.

We keep our promises and never lie.

Together we laugh and never cry.
