Small Big Thing

All I need is love.

In any form, I'll take it.

My mom's warm hugs.

A stranger's smile.

My sister's nonstop talking.

My friends' night phone calls.

The dark-skinned boy with headphones and a recordable laugh.

In thoughts. In smiles. In words. In hugs. In laughs. In hand-holds.

It can appear and disappear in an instant.

It makes my head spin and my face grin.

I can't imagine a life without this big thing that is hidden in so many little things.
