small miracle
Deep excruciating pain inside her
watery teary eyes go in a blur
liquid leaking through her pants
nervous and afraid she chants
"what the hell is going on?"
next thing she's stretched out long
all heard was the shrieking alarm
her strong pulse felt through her arm
frantic worried faces await at the door
racing her across the cold tile floor
picked up and placed on another bed
soft warm hands rubbing her head
all of a sudden voices scream push
doesn't have the strength to look
exhausted went straight into a nap
awoken by something on her lap
so small and beautiful in every way
she will never forget that day.
