Small Things

The small things matter most

Little things make me boast

The sound of your voice

The one thing I like to hear

Let’s me know you care

That you’re still there

Small caresses of skin

Little pecks on the cheek

Make me feel unique

The blush that forms even in the midst of a storm

Makes me feel out of the norm

Not materialistic and flashy things

Or the stuff that makes me seen

The small gestures

A simple rose

A simple picnic

Small things that make my heart stop

Things that make me drop

Communication and Affection

That’s all I need

Because I Love You

And your actions show you love me too

A simple girl, in a simple world

Don’t want the big things, just the small ones

More meaning and more value

Because that’s what matter most

And what makes me boast
