The Smaller Things and the Bigger Picture

You- stark relief in embodied veins

Graced my days with mindless praise

I did love those forever mentions in keyboard strike,

A prophecy ordained from starry expand

that swayed and collapsed on the same self-guides- us.

So don’t mind a tear or two from my starry gaze

Peering beyond imperial view of delusional fate,

Or the vast depths of crave for the unified nothing,

Or the torn indulgence of industrial lead-lust

And shell barricades lined in consecutive sequence,

Or the children of Adam rich with hope but with empty cups.

Stars moon earth sun galaxy infinity

I imagine if I meant anything, your abundance could provide

the children of Israel a home, in my eyes.

After all, it’s just the processed corporate piles

you pour in bare innocent lines all the same

Fill my mind with trite and told, separate aware from bliss

Stars moon earth

Fuck the subliminal billboards in packed street huddles

for the futuristic flourish where no voices rise above it;

the brainwash of sex and political dust trails to Hell

Sun galaxy infinity

The devil trending media then calling out to me

It’s the very same adhesion that keeps you from me.

IconoclastSalem

Faeries, magick, enchantment, Tir Na Nog, Mother Earth, poetry, the stars, and wonder are all I need in life. Hey, I'm Salem. I'm just an average nobody trapped in forever cycles of hurt and repent. My mind mixes thought and reality ever so painfully which, in turn, creates the chaotic painting that is my life. Who said chaos couldn't be beautiful?
