The Smallest Things Are Awesome

Everything Is Awesome

It is amazing how we rest and store energy

To wake up again and again from the kissing sun

Be hugged by the gentle cool wind

Be sung to from every chirping bird that flocks

When rain approaches dawn and night consumes the light

Where they rest in the nest of unborn chicks

The smallest things are awesome

Oh how we forget that we are

The living flesh of greater things

That breathes and sees the beauty of life

How refreshing it is to feel and hear the beating of hearts

The smallest things are awesome

Oh how captivating life is

What beauty is held in the eye of the beholder

When you capture the most breath-taking

Irresistible, momentum that we bear in our hearts

That we can never seem to forget

How precious life is and unique it could be

When the ugly ruins our delight

Tearing away our sights in what we see

Of cities than trees

Still,

We find awesome when the city lights

Smile forever more brighter.
