Smile


He isn't on the leash And there is A bird Within reach. He gives chase, Ignoring his own pursuers, Until the bird Takes flight. By then, he is Among a group of ducks And gives chase again, Across the golf course And down to the water. Out of things to chase, He sits, looks back And smiles mischievously.
