A smile

As a young ambitious boy, I strive to be the best. How? By simply showing the world my big bright smile. My parents stepped foot in America to afford a better future for me and my siblings, so therefore, I must take every opportunity and use it to the best of my ability. I believe that words are nothing compared to actions, but I sit here pondering about how to successfully write an essay to achieve this fine scholarship. I attend a prestigious school that only pushes me to become more competitive and determined by the end of the day. Despite my young age, I'm already looking into the future and deciding what path I should follow. I am involved in a handful of organizations at school and I find great joy in community service. As many others only do community service to get the required hours needed, I, on the the other hand, try to dig deep into my heart and hope to inspire others. I passionately work with a smile on my face, hoping that someday, the future generation will view me as an idol. I strive to adjust other's perspectives in a positive way, because that way, I can finally say that I accomplished something memorable. My younger brother who suffers from down syndrome, taught me something significant, a bright smile will help lead the way. So I smiled more and realized that this is a huge step to being the best.
