Smile

You still make me smile.

And yes, it's only been a little while.

But I can't help but to look.

Look at your number across my screen

Because I felt I couldn't look at your name,

But you're still present in my phone.

Alone. Or I should be.

I didn't want you to let go of me

Or me of you is what I should say.

Hey, maybe one day when we're not so...

So different. So strange. So distant.

Because I trusted you but my trust was contradicted.

I can never look the other way

In my heart you cannot stay

But then I look at your number across my screen...

I couldn't look at your name

But you're still present in my phone.

And I smile

And yes, it's only been a little while

SInce you broke what I wanted to build

Destroyed what I thought was real.

Still. You make me laugh.

As if you can erase the past.

But it's okay.

Cause you make me smile.

So I guess it's worth the happiness.

Even if it's only for a little while.
