Smile, When your first born you are crying not smiling, so why should I wake up showing my nice teeth or showing my dimples, Smile It's unusual to walk around with a frown on your face so smile no matter what push through it and smile Smile, Because someone is always looking and as my grandmother says don't nobody want nobody who looks mean all the time SMILE Smile Because I'm sad it doesn't matter someone is always trying to make me laugh I could be having a terrible say and an adult would say SMILE Smile, Because you don't want to be labeled as that one kid who's always frowning do you? Smile, Smile because no matter how upset you are the world doesn't care it's always someone telling you to smile a creepy old man you mother or your father a friend or a teacher I rather you smile because you are truly happy Smile, Smile when your happy smile when it's needed in your mindset remember we came out crying so you don't always have to smile so Smile, Smile because your excited because you shouldn't smile just because someone told you your better off smiling smile because you can Also if you see me walking down the street don't say smile I'll most definitely do the opposite and frown this may not be the poem you expected but this is the pome I directed so smile when you can and if your smile leaves remember it will come again
