With a Smile
One spark, sets fire to a tree.
The flames lick at the leaves of its neighbors.
A symphony of light explodes, the forest is ablaze.
The heat builds, consuming your neat little center.
You fade to black and all you see is red.
Everything natural is frail, is ash.
Boundaries burn effortlessly.
Palms dripping sweat, lips curl, face flush.
Teeth grind, fists clench, feet stomp.
The growl is guttural and full of Contempt...
Frustration, Anger, Panic, Hate.
The air, toxic with Pain.
Everything is absolute...
There is no saving.
Nothing is sacred.
...and here you thought you knew how I felt.
How it feels with my hands around your neck.
