Smile
Come to me during my morning hours of the day
Approach me, touch me, listen, and see
Can it mean anything
Do you look beyond the smile I strain to sow on
The pricks, each vile thread I pool through to shape it right
It means not a thing
So cut through and help mend my sorrows to joy
For I long for a smile that I shall never intend to sow ever again
It means everything
Now it speaks, it seems to have a mind of its own
Engrave your own thoughts, influence it quick
I can judge and be judged
Soon I will smile and I will be free
I live with the smile I choose to wear everyone else shall meet me during my mourning hour
Do I smile like thee ?
