Smile Again

I cry and cry but

My tears will dry some day

I’ll learn to smile again.

Helped by the one

The one who knows

We’ll learn to smile again.

The fake and forced

Will be easy and real

I’ll learn to smile again.

This hole will be filled

With something new

I’ll learn to smile again.

I can break through the storm

And let the sun through

I can learn to smile again.

With a little help from

Each other and time.

We can learn to smile again.

The teeth I show will not

Be for them.

I will learn to smile again.

Places of our sadness and mourning

Will be faded blissful memories

We will learn to smile again.

Happiness can happen

Will happen

I will smile again.

With us together

New memories and laughter

We will smile again.
