Smile Sadly, Sweet One
Smile sadly, Sweet One.
Hide away from the cruel world.
Those who say that you've gone crazy;
The ones that only cause you hurt.
You have so much more to live for,
But you're confined to your dark house.
As the whole town laughs about you,
While you wouldn't hurt a mouse.
Someday soon you'll be free,
From these chains that keep you bound.
Finally live the life you've wanted so long,
That must now only be dreamed about.
So smile sadly, Sweet One.
The pain will only last a bit longer.
Listen to those wise ones who say,
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
