When times are down,

When you are sick,

I will always be there to bring you up.

Though it may not be easy to persuade you to come out and have fun,

But to see you all alone breaks my heart.

Yet, I somehow find the strength at times to go over and get a smile out of you,

And to make all the clouds go away.

Because, “the only way to your heart is to make you laugh,”

And seeing a smile on your face is the only way to brighten my day.

Just knowing I can do that much makes me think that I have a chance with you.
