Smiles

Smile, why aren't you smiling?
Everyone has to smile
Those lips are the ones that show it all
Those lips are the ones that tell it all
The best thing to do is smile

That's usually the case for optimism
Can't you see a smile falls into racism
What happened to the strive for equality?
Even though people are different
Don't we want diversity
Accepting them for who they are

Every smile is different
Every lip is different
Can't we say we are in the land of the free
Even though there isn't a smile from sea to sea

What we call joy those lips’ end
Reach for the sky
What we call sad those lips end
Reach for the depths of hell
Why do we put a name on the
Movements of our lips?

Aren't we discriminating the lip by putting names
Every lip should be treated equally
No matter where the lips point
That should be called a smile

Even if we consider being silent
A devil’s smile, it's a smile
Sadness is a smile
Anger is a smile
Joy is a smile

Now you're asking me why
Why don't I have smile
I am smiling can't you see
I will always be smiling
But smiling in a different way
