Smiley

“Smiley”

Your heart was pure

was sweet

And didn't know hatred

let alone its meaning

Its existence was obsolete

Until these demons had followed thee

Fam ain't care long as you wasn't on Maury

These demons are called friends but that's a different story

Let's start from “smiley”

A child

That wore that name proud

Who lifted any mood

with just his smile

He was a dreamer

a humble giant

Who lied on the ninth cloud

and never got a chance to see

Only a small kid

Couldn't spell proud

So how could he be

If I could meet smiley now

I'll show him his life

Tell him what not to do

So he could live right

Fight the temptation

To be a friend

Because friendships quickly end

There are not too many people you can trust

And don't look for love

Let it find us

Take it from me ‘cause I know as much

Then I'll say please

Just listen to me

‘Cause I am smiley

And smiley is Tyree
